Alfa Group enters the share capital of Pluribus One, strengthening its leadership in Application Cybersecurity
Rome, May 7th 2026 - Alfa Group S.p.A. announces its entry into the share capital of Pluribus One S.r.l., an Italian company specialized in application security and developer of the first fully Made‑in‑Europe Application Detection and Response (ADR) solution. The Group acquires a majority stake through the simultaneous purchase of existing shares and a capital increase aimed at supporting Pluribus One’s growth and development plan.
Founded as a university spin‑off, Pluribus One boasts a strong research and development background, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, and is actively involved in numerous European projects. In particular, the company coordinates the European project Apptake and is a partner of leading global players and universities in several initiatives, including PERUN, Sec4AISec, PiQASO, NERO, Cyber Suite, and STARLIGHT.
These projects address key topics such as AI security, application protection, the transition to post‑quantum cryptography, cyber resilience, and support for cybercrime prevention and mitigation activities. Participation in these programs further strengthens Pluribus One’s role as a key player within the European cybersecurity ecosystem.
With Pluribus One joining the Group’s perimeter, Alfa Group further expands its cybersecurity offering, reinforcing its capabilities in application security and services supporting large organizations and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), in line with an increasingly integrated vision oriented toward the enterprise and defence markets.

Andersen Italia acted as advisor to the transaction, overseeing tax, legal, and labour due diligence activities as well as the application process for Golden Power authorization.
The transaction confirms Alfa Group’s strategy to continue investing in M&A as a key lever for growth and international expansion, focusing on highly technological companies strongly complementary to its core business.
